Please note if you are a commission earner then 6 months recent payslip and banks statements are needed.

  • Spend no more than a third of your monthly income (after deductions) towards your bond
  • Gross salary of ±R19,500 joint/single before deductions

  • Pay accounts on time
  • Save for a deposit
  • If blacklisted, seek assistance in clearing
  • Ensure debit orders are not rejected
  • Check your credit profile free once a year on www.experian.co.za

HOW TO APPLY

1. VIEW HOUSE

You come and view the house

2. OFFER TO PURCHASE

Fill in an offer to purchase with estate agent

3. HOME LOAN APPLICATION

Home loan application gets sent to the banks

4. SUBMITTED TO ATTORNEYS

Once approved by a bank and accepted by buyer, it gets submitted to the attorneys

5. SIGN THE DOCUMENTS

You then sign documents at the attorneys and get *FICA’d

6. TRANSFER

Application for rates clearance certificate & transfer duty receipt is done

7. DEEDS OFFICE

House gets lodged at the deeds office

8. REGISTRATION

House then gets registered into your name
